Matagi charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels forward Suaia Matagi has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee with Grade One Tripping following the Eels Round 25 victory over the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium last night.

The charge is for an incident in the 50th minute of the clash on Broncos Kodi Nikorima.

The charge carries a base penalty $1,500 fine, but Matagi has a prior similar offence (50% loading).

Matagi's charge will be $1,650 with an early guilty plea or $2,250 if found guilty.

    Remember when Mc Grubb punched Allgood and it was Allgood that got sent off and suspended


    Kenny also needs to be charged for head butting Oates's studs

    Won't be long before we see Brad Arthur being suspended for his team winning games.

    At least its only a cash penalty so he will be there next week.
