Who does he currently play for and why is he leaving.
He doesnt look like he can kick a ball at all, but I reckon he'll end up one of the best ever goal kickers... If he can stay in 1st Grade
He was vg in general play last year and his goal kicking was better than vg and others in the comp he was VA, very accurate.
He had a breakout season last year for the Dogs, brilliant goal kicker and attacking lock, his defence is a bit questionable at times but that can be worked on.
I don't want to see him replace Terepo, sure Terepo deserves a fine, suspension, alcohol ban and possibly a final warning, I would be dissappointed if his contract was torn up, he didn't hurt anyone, he has not been charged with anything and can only be accused of being an idiot.
Re the Terepo situation, I know the club has the policy in such situations of releasing a statment and ending by saying "We will be making no further comment on the Matter" But they should at least give us an update. Even if it is just saying that the matter is still being discussed with the NRL Integrtiy Unit and we hope to have it resolved shortly.
But hearing nothing is frustrating. We don't know if they are working hard to resolve or if they've forgotten about it. At least a weekly update gives us something to go on.
Absolutely Nigel, poor form on behalf of the club on this, they need to at least keep us informed, with all this speculation about signing other players I hope it is not at the expense of Peni Terepo, I would hate to see him booted for making a nuisance of himself.
How about something left-field like he has to go around to all the other clubs and say how embarrassed he was and then give a talk on airline ettiquette.
Peni should be in the next air nz safety video. Booze ban, big fine and served last chance.
Yeah I know they cant say anything of significance but just to know the matter is progressing.
I do take on Poppa's point of maybe it's a case of keeping quiet and everyone will focus on the footy then we'll quietly release the punishment while everyone is looking the other way.
If true. Brilliant signing. Was by far bulldogs best player last year. With brown gone for a extended period, perfect replacement. Hope this rumour is true.
