What about Mahoney as well? Those 2 will be missed if serious injuries. Hope not
Mahoney missing a week could be benificial to our play, with Stone at dummy half it will force us to play tighter as he doesn't have the long pass that reed does. we have been playing with too much width of late and getting back to playing in the middle could help set up our attack. Obviously we don't want reed out for more than a week or two.
Oh boy are we gonna miss Marata if he is out. But Mahoney is obviously the bigger problem overall with him being a spine player. I am not convinced Stone could play 80 as well. So that means trying to find a bench hooker which we don't have in 30 man squad.
I think Field or Gutho will get into dummy half a lot and probably a bit more dummy half running from our outside backs particularly jennings. Playing straighter is going to help our attack.
