Mannah's 200th NEXT WEEK

Regardless of opinions about form, age or his captaincy, Timmy plays his 200th next week and deserves some real recognition. You don't play that many games if you don't have a bit of ability and toughness, especially in the front row. 6pm on a Friday is probably the graveyard timeslot but let's get as many out there as we can and celebrate Mannah's milestone. As we've read, he had offers to leave and chose to stay, despite how bad we've been since our last finals appearance. A great clubman for us and hopefully we can deliver a nice win to cap the occasion. See you at ANZ!

  • People have been critical of Timmy but they have had good reason to be critical. I haven't heard any complaints over the last couple of weeks though. He's been doing his job and doing it well.
I'll be there for number 200.
  • Good on him. He has played pretty good lately and he's really good for our club
  • You can see that Tim is leading the pack on the field. The other players look up to him, which is highly valuable. He may have lost some speed, but there are younger players for that. Tim has his role.

    • Snake would be very proud of the fact that he extended the career of his favourite player in Timmy Mannah!

    • It took dozens of people on social media slamming him to get the cunt to wake up, he was blocking people left right and centre lol, deserves everything he gets and more.

  • Great milestone for any player in today's game.

Onya Timmy - lead us to victory.

  • I think BA's comment last night in the post game press conference speaks volumes of Tim. BA  said, we've got Timmy's 200th game next week, if we can find a reason to play we're in trouble. BA realises what a great club man Timmy has been. To play 200 games and all of them in the front row is a great achievement.

Agree - he was flat there for a few months but his last month has been great. Lets hope he keeps it up.

  • I have gone of this site since fake blog. At least BA respects Tim Mannah and has chosen him captain for a reason. Rock on Tim always love a good guy.
    • LOLLLLLLLLLLL Poor Timmy, poor Parrakeet......are you ok?

    • Yes Female eels fans rate a good guy over everything else and always have, thats been duly noted Parrakeet.

"I'm not suggesting throwing Lorenzo or any other young player in there now, they aren't ready, my point is they still won't be ready for a start in 2027 either so are we going to sign another 1 year stop gap 6 for 2027?."

"Thanks KN/ EA. Just checking my gut feeling. Hopefully, he stays & makes good on his potential. I like his upside: footy nous, big body, kicking game, goal-kicker. Ain't many sixes offering all that. He's called by many in RU as a "Sua'ali'i clone…"
