Mannah is a Bench rotation Prop

Before people shoot this down, i'm not bagging his effort in the slightest. His best years as a player were his early days off the bench.

Moreso in our current team, he comes out , busts his ass for 15 mins, then becomes very sloppy. His defence starts to slacken off , especially his marker defence, and his next 10 mins are pretty ineffective before he sits off for maybe 40 mins of match time. During this time we usually have neither of our 2 captains on the field.

I think in this side he'd be best utilised off the bench where his quick play the balls and all out effort can be better utilised and then he gets the half time breather and can go again. If he ever had a day of being an effective starting prop, those days are long gone.

  • Who'd you have as starting prop?
  • 100% spot on.

  • Alvaro needs to go for mine. Gets completely dominated in every tackle, and is dominated when trying to tackle.

  • I agree his best footy in 09 and 10 he was coming off the bench his up tempo play the balls work in the back half of the game

    • I like the idea of moving Taka to lock because it adds another ball playing option in the middle of the field. Plus I think his days as a centre are over
    • Doesn't make sense to change players at halftime. You're using 6 interchanges just for the prop rotation
  • Bem sounds good
