Lets pick up some players. Personally, I would go for Koriasau for hooker, and Uate for wing. We also need a big body up front. Evans just not cutting it at the moment. I'd look at trying to get Junior back, or Fonua Blake. Even Leeson Au Ma(spelling) from Saints. Thoughts?

Do they actually have to get rid of players? wasnt it just a fine?

They aren't losing any players. They are under the cap for this year, so there is no need to shed players
Maybe so, but is that a direct result of the salary cap breach, or more the fact that he is surplus to their needs and money could be better spent elsewhere?
I think we have a better chance to snare someone (mid-season transfer) before the June 30 deadline now.
I mean who else other than Manly & Parra still hasn't spent their entire cap for THIS YEAR?
Does anything regarding todays decision say they can't spend the rest of this years cap?
If Manly aren't allowed to buy anymore players this year, it will be us who will benefit from their situation. Especially if someone (usefull to us) became available before June 30, our offer to him would be un-opposed.
Trust us to buy him back on massive overs years later.
