Manly v Sharks - A moral dilemma

Well we all know how badly we want Manly to get the spoon! How awesome would that be. Only problem is, we need the sharks to lose today to get us closer to the eight. Somehow though I just cant find myself cheering for Manly, especially when a possible wooden spoon is at stake!

  • I'm sorry, but I just can't overcome the urge to support the sharks and hope Moanly lose.

    Stems but to the 70's.
  • Fuck Manly!!!  Go you Sharkies!!!

Manly have never won a spoon, time for their scummy supporters to know what it feels like.

  • My manly mate is so broke this year. Kept having to buy me beer. Make a bet that Manly will gewt flogged, come in that Tuesday and there's four beers waiting for me :) Soooooooooo go Sharkies, another three beers waiting for me on Tuesday

  • At the end it is all about us,and us making the 8, I for one can put my hatred for certain sides ie storm, manly, dogs aside as long as it means we are climbing the ladder .
  • I want our success more than I want Manly to fail. Go Manly, flog the Sharks
    • Yeah mate, I'm with you.
  • The NRL season can be compared to a marathon but instead only 1 team will prevail instead of a certain individual after a 30 week schedule were highs and lows are experienced throughout this race.
Leading into each round ill always circle the side which will benefit the eels to ensure the best possible result after the week is done.
Sure their are sides that im not fond of more than others.
Early in the season i tend to prefer teams to log jam each other in hope parra will string some wins to clear the pack.
Throughout recent seasons the eels have been battling in the bottom half of the ladder therefore il be deathriding any side that allows us to catch in order to salvage any finals outcome.
I hate every side equally barring the bulldogs who il never cheer unless a result that means the eels can benefit.
In saying this a victory over manly is always a significan highlight.
For us to somehow acheive a top 8 finish this season means a manly victory will indeed be a beneficial result for parra.
Ill be barracking for manly today for this cause.
    • Tera tet tet terra terra ra raru
  • No moral dilemma for me. Caaaaaarn Sharkies!!
  • Go the Sharks. Manly heading towards their first spoon, thanks to their miserable forward pack led by Mason and Mateo.
