MANLY SALARY CAP PUNISHMENT UPHELD

Will be interesting to see the fallout from this.1. $660k penalty to their 2019 cap. They will have to shed players.2. Where was the points deduction? 4 points would have been justified in line with what the Warriors got stung with.3. $750k fine to the club may rule out a play for Maguire, and they will have to settle for Cartwright.4. The NRL better be consistent and refuse players to take pay cuts like they did with Parra in 2016.A lot to play out over the next few months...

  • Actually, it was 330k from this years cap and 330k from next years cap, and 250k of the fine is suspended.

  • There are 2 questions I would like answered with this:

    1. Why was their penalty split over two years?

    2. Why was there no points penalty?

    • I have no idea

    • Not parra

  • The NRL doesn't identify with the word 'consistent ' it's not in their vocabulary.

  • No Tentonz right its not parra
