Has anyone noticed how much NRL360 is trying to convince everyone that Manly are innocent of any salary cap breaches? They are almost suggesting that the NRL owes Manly an apology.

Hmmmm I didn't see it. If true that's some clear double standards there. Its suggested that the salary cap cheating at manly was uncovered by investigators looking into the alleged match fixing. Is NRL360 suggesting that those investigators made it up? Lol
Paul Kent and Benny are saying it was simply ONE ex gruntled player or offical who made an allegation of money in a brown paper bag. They say Manly have nothing to worry about and infact the NRL should hurry up and clear them because thet are such a model club. Yet they hammered Parra night after night.
Kent & Ikin both don't like the Eels. It is clear to see & the way they want the whole Manly cap issue washed away without a question asked just proves they are anti Eels. Last season they could of been reporting on the weather & it became a story about the Eels cap. The Eels were crucified last season & as much as I agree we had to get cleaned up the way the club was treated last year was terrible. There was no concern for the innocent people at the club, No concern for the fans. NRL MUST conduct every cap investigation the same as they did with the Eels.
I responded in another blog on this; this is not the same as Parra; it was reported to the NRL via police interviews which cannot be compelled to give as evidence from my knowledge. It is not the same as parra and as reported is from people or a person who say they paid players (we assume in paper bags type) which has no record. It seems it was one person who mentioned this.
Manly are privately owned where Parra are governed by the the leagues club, that is why the reform came through the Liquor / Gaming group. Parra also had items in writing / and minutes / recordings I recall; this is way different. and yes it probably happens at many clubs but how do you prove paper bags with cash??? Parra had whistle blowers; Melb the same i recall and C'bury had their issues linked to the sports project at Liverpool..which the SMH found about innocently.
My cynicism is with the Tele; as they have NOT found anything of substance from any rort and they got the news from Parra via disgruntled employee which we assume was Seward and co.
I don't really care if Kent / Ikin etc do not like us, but they are the facts or close to it.
The NRL have done nothing since we got busted; and the TPA's are a joke as it definitely gives certain clubs an advantage particularly one city clubs.
"Difference is that Talagi played centre the full SG ball season that eels won the comp in 2023. He even played centre in JF that year. He didn't play in the halves at all that year. Risati has only played 6 for us"

Not surprising at all.
