  • Wow as of now they are 500k over the cap so they should be shed of points to some degree then given a time frame to be salary cap compliant. Just my 2 cents
    • Correct, lose all their points until they are cap compliant, that what happened to us

  • Marty Tapau.

    Would mind reeling him in.

With T Rex out for the season and Junior not joining until next year, MT would be more than handy.
    • You won’t get either of the brothers. Tapau would look good in an Eels jumper( whatever design)
    • Yep id take MT, he goes good.

    • Totally agree, wanted him when he was unhappy with the Tigers. He just crazy that guy!!

    • Shedding players to become cap compliant isn’t straight forward. Unless the next club is willing to take 100% of the contract then Manly are still screwed.

$500k?  This will take a significant player to be let go. Maybe more than one.

We had to let Paulo and Peats leave to become cap compliant.

I’d imagine Taupau is the caliber of player they’d have to let go. He’d be an amazing Pre-June 30 pick up.

  • Tapau, Paseka (young 120kg prop), Jake Trbojevic, and Kelly are the only ones I would take.

    • I’d take a shot at getting that Paseka - huge potential under a good coach.

Also throwspme coin at Taupau although he’s got a lot of stupidity in his game.

      • Paseka is a good signing. Would be cheap and huge potential
