Manly and Melbourne VS Gallop

I don't know about you but I'm sick of hearing how much the NRL has hurt Manly and Melbourne. Melbourne cheated the cap, were punished and they continually say they are victims and that the penalties were too harsh. Manly keep saying that they want Gallop to apologise for suspending Brett Stewart. Stewart was suspended for bringing the game into disrepute, he did it to himself. He was pissed and put himself in an awkward situation where he was taken advantage of. Gallop did what he was entitled to do which was to suspend a player who hard tarnished the game. IMO Gallop has done very little wrong and I believe that the punisents he handed down in both those situations were warranted.

  • If I had to vote on which if the 3 to keep I'd vote for Gallop!
  • They are all terrosits really.

Just people passionate about their cause.

    Terroists I say, terroists.
  • Honestly, I think the worst in this case, have been Manly.

Brett Stewart's comments to Gallop on grand final day confirm this.

    • I feel sorry Stewart for what happened to him.

I feel sorry for Gallop for copping the blame for the situation Brett Stewart put himself in.

If Brett Stewart wants someone to apologise to him, maybe he should ask the father and daughter who falsely accused him of sexual assault! Its Insane that David Gallop is copping all this shit, when the 2 people responsible haved moved on after failing there dishonest money grab whilst ruining a young mans life in the process.

  • I hope the Comission kicks Melbourne out of the comp
  • Gallop dropped the ball and should have at least stated publicly that Brett has handled himself well during a very tough time and that he is a better person in his view.
Gallop does not need to apologise, as others have stated he was the face of the game and sent the code into a frenzy due to his actions.
Manly needed to show some maturity and grow up and move on from the incident. But hey the way they handled Peter Peters is an example of how they look after in house issues.
  • Brett Stewart needs to learn that he is not bigger than the game. His actions brought the game into disrepute and must realise that he not only has to answer to Gallop, but to the people who put big money into the game.
  • The Stewarts are always going to be sooks!

and Melbourne will always be given the silver spoon service aslong as News Limited is in control

  • I am very surprised that Glenn did not stand head to toe with Gallop on Sunday before throwing the first punch and waiting for his brother Brentles to come in throwing haymakers.
