  • Shame.  I would of loved him at parra

    • Just someone new to add to the mix when claims are made that there is no one good enough to replace BA. You never know, it might happen one day.

      • C'mon Adam you know there just hasn't been anyone good enough available since he started coaching the Eels - it's the only reason we still have him..

        • I know mate, just putting it out there

  • Maloney would not make a good head coach. A great assistant definately, but as a head coach? I do not see it.

    • apparently a fantastic footy brain

  • Love Jimmy... a bit cliche but he's 'old school' and a 'footballer'. Always was. Would have loved him in the blue & gold.

Never the fastest, not the biggest, not the most skilled... but just an absolute footy player. Tough, sneaky, footy smartsand a bit of larrakin etc... exactly the sort of half you'd want to run on to a field with. Zero guarantee he's make a good head coach but geez, I'd have a crack and see. Reckon players would love having him around.

EA replied to Seraph's discussion Injuries and age - who makes the cut?
"Blake was good in 2019 as he only joined mid season that year. From 2020 he was horrible. He did have a decent end to the season when we got knocked out my Penrith in the finals in a close game, but that's about it. "
