Making it clear.

It's become quite a consistent thing across blogs in relation to the team structure and positions where people make remarks that not only make no sense but contradict BA and everything coming out of pre-season training. People need to get it out of their heads that certain things are not coming to pass and listen to the information coming out of training."We need a half" - No. We don't. Norman showed incrediable control and steering of the side after Forans collapse and will do fine in halfback. Gutherson set the field alight with his performances at 5/8 having never played that position before. He's been boasted as the fittest player of the pack and has all round impressed everyone with his kicking and ball playing ability so far in pre-season. The Fog will not be getting in front of either of these blokes (outside injury)"Hoffman/Gutho to Fullback" - Just f*** right off with this. French will be fullback and if anyone thinks otherwise needs to go back and watch the back end of the season. French is a lot more defensively sound at FB than he is on the wing, he knows where to be and when to be there and if you haven't noticed, is a very natural attacking player. We might see Hoffman slot on at FB if something happens to French, but it is highly unlikely he will take the custodian role from French."Manu Manu needs to learn how to be a more effective second row" - .....I'm just.... nope."We need a new hooker" n.. well yeah actually. IDG stifles our attack but is still relatively sound in defence. Whereas Kaysa is a very fast, strong attacking player with issues in defence. its one of those things,, we just need a hooker that can defend, pass and has some sort of kicking game. Ennis showed with the sharks, having a good hooker really boosts attack, something we need right now.I understand that a lot of you blokes on here like to think having a different opinion makes you special, well it does, but ya know where I'm going with that. Listen to what BA says, what information is coming out of camps and from trusted sources (TCT training recaps) and not random Wally's on here who have players saying they don't think Gutho is the solution despite every other source saying otherwise.

  • We may see Cameron King start the year at 9.

Ben Glover stated on the recent Market Watch podcast (the same day he trained with us) that BA told him he wanted an 80min hooker and so far King was leading at training. I hope for his sake he doesn't cop another injury, we might finally benefit from his potential.

Spot on with all your other points.
  • Oh I certainly don't think I'm the smartest in the room - thus why I only made points in regards to things people say that directly contradict facts said by the club. The gripe I have the most is people saying we need to sign a halve when we literally have two and then another two on back up...

  • Sry I have no doubt whatsoever that BA has the workings in motion to bring Hunt here earlier then 2018 and have two trusted Halfs for the start of 2017.Not one A grade coach in there right mind likes to gamble with any professional team.sry where's there smoke there's usually fire.....
    • Yeah but if it's on 1EE most of the time it's usually someone with a smoke machine, and mirrors.
  • In BA's system our dummy half has been our best defender, if not then pretty close to it. Fog will probably get a few minutes at dummy half against Penrith, after Kaysa and King come off the field.
  • Gutho forever, Ben Hunt never!

  • Chill pill buddy

"TDS is still young, with plenty of improvement left in him. He could still play Flegg in 2026 ffs. And despite being two years younger than Ryley Smith, he has played nine more NRL games."
