Make Cooper Cronk an offer he can’t refuse

I can't see any other way forward.

Offer Cronk lots of cash

Tell him a brief tour at the Eels will be a good challenge and experience for when he takes over the Chooks

Tell him there will be nothing in the contract to stop him taking our players and juniors with him when he goes back to the Chooks so it is in Easts interests that he comes here for a few years

Does he want to end up like Sterlo and lose a lot of credibility and respect because he is just a commentator and not a doer like Bellamy or Bennett.

Whatever it takes. Successful companies do what it takes to get the best at the top.
