Madge is the man who must now be top of the tree when clubs are seeking a premiership winning head coach,  and if I were the eels management,  I'd be closely monitoring the start to 24 and keeping close tabs on Maguire as our next head coach. He's done a great job with NZ and it seems they really enjoy him as a mentor. Defensively you can see he's made a difference

Don't listen to the fools who tell you he didn't improve the Tigers  - Wayne + Bellamy + Gibson combined wouldn't improve the Tigers.under the current fractured board and management.

Now its time for the Unicorns and the realists combined to get behind the Madge magure idea and let go of thinking that the bush coach will miraculously turn around our team especially with the lack of outside backs, and genuine development back ups.

Lest all let go of mr 33% finals record Brad, and give a premiership winner the reigns at parramatta..

Things need to start happening right now. Brad has had his run, he deserves credit for turning around a failed team, but we still fall down in many areas. He's low percentage finals record and our inconsistent and somewhat flawed defense overshadow many of the successes.

  • Outstanding performance by New Zealand.

Australia went with a bunch of old useless overated has beens and got absolutely smashed. Mal Meniga is an imbecile.

Dyl Brown is a bona fide megastar of the game.

Prediction: Dylbro will lead Parra to a title next year alongside Moses - who should have been playing today. He will win the Dally M and the Clive Churchill in the process, and BA will be extended for another 5 seasons.

    • Kram

im lost whether this is satire ?

      the last part is

was dylbags good or awful ?

      • Dylbanger was fantastic Carls. Really classy.

Wiz said in another post somewhere that our big names didn't really stand up this year (with the possible exception of Guth). He's spot on.

I'm hoping that this might be a game that we can look back on and say "that was the game where Dylbro finally came of age". Time will tell :)

        • As long as his alter ego Dyl Cosby doesn't get himself in some strife tonight with the ladies.

        • Junior Paulo was the most disappointing.

        • Well Brown didn't stand up I guess because he spent half the year suspended. Moses had a pretty good year until he got injured and won an origin call up where he was very good.

I just hope we can have our spine on the field together all season. If we can we are as good a chance as any side

      • I'm with you Carl's I don't get what I call dry humour either.

  • Did we get the last successful New Zealand coach too. That didn't go so well.

    • I think alot of players get to burn out if they went deep into finals. Panthers bookends play well for Kiwis sadly missing in SOO .  No excuse for those who didnt play finals I was thinking (dangerous) how good Aus looked last week with the bulk of Queensland together and how well Cherry played and directed team around which I put down to maturity.  I didn't see all of game today  how much footy can you stand?
