CHAMPION centre Jamie Lyon wants out from the Manly Sea Eagles.
The Telegraph can reveal Lyon has agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.
He verbally agreed to the $2 million deal yesterday.
Lyon is due to meet Manly management today to seek an immediate release from the final year of his contract at Brookvale.
A Gold Coast source told the Daily Telegraph: “Jamie has agreed – he just needs the release from Manly.
If Lyon is allowed to go, it will ease massive salary cap pressure at the club.
Update: Lyon will remain at Manly for 2013.

Wow, I thought he would stay at Manly til he retired. Their fans would be filthy. Lol
wait......your actually surprised that he has dogged another club?
Let's hope he handles things better this time round.
Or not - who cares?
No real problem if he does. He would actually be doing us a favour as he & Ben Roberts I think r the only 2 high profile players off contract end 2013. If he walks now, it would allow RS to recruit a quality replacement, potentially a quality Forward or Dummy Half, as we have a lot of depth in the 3/4 line.
Loving this post on the Silvertails forum....
'can anyone else hear the Eels fans laughing at us?' - if not by now, you soon will boys...
I am surprised it has taken this long and I am surprised he didn't go to join Uncle Noel again.
