Moses Mbye has played his last game for the St George Illawarra Dragons as the former Origin player trades one Red V for another.
Mbye's arrival on Merseyside to join St Helens will likely see former Parramatta hooker Joey Lussick return to the blue and gold.
With Josh Hodgson ruled out for the season due to injury and Mitch Rein now retired the Eels have only rookie rake Brendan Hands in their top 30.
Lussick's return to Parramatta had been rumoured since Hodgson's injury but a move seemed unlikely due to St Helens requiring a transfer fee which would count under Parramatta's salary cap.
However the arrival of Mbye will fill Lussick's spot at St Helens and give them a valuable utility.
Lussick has spent the majority of his time at Saints behind ESL iron man and legend James Roby who has played more than 500 games for the club.

Great news, welcome back Lussick
Yep awesome!
When?
I think he'll play against the Storm
Wow - that would be good
Hope so, we need to give Hands a break - he looks exhausted.
I agree. Hands is not an 80 minute player. Very few hookers are. We need a bench hooker.
I think Hands can be an 80 minute guy, he's just never had to before this.
Mahoney plays 80 minutes and you can tell it costs him a bucketload of attacking potency. You just didn't notice it as much when he was playing in our team as we carried him. We don't necessarily want an 80 minute hooker.
Whatever the case, you two hookers is always better than one
