I told you just a few days ago that Parramatta was interested in Souths star Angus Crichton.Well, here's some more big news for all you Eels fans.A Parramatta insider has told me his club is seriously looking at signing Cooper Cronk.The Roosters remain favourites for Cronk with Parramatta now roaring into contention.I hear Eels coach Brad Arthur is holidaying overseas but is keeping a close watch on the Cronk proceedings.Parramatta have the power and professionalism to be an attractive option for Cronk.Souths have opted out of chasing Cronk.

I thought the leaks had stopped. Even Prozhenks has started making up stories for his lack of facts.

I can't see how Cronk could go to any cap compliant club, unless on the coaching staff. That only leaves him with a couple of options. Canterbury are a mess so it won't be them. I don't think Cronulla are in the running, so that only leaves Easts.

  If eels released a half norman for instance they could easily fit him under the cap but the club would need a plan on who to hunt after cronk would be well worth it if crobk stayed on as a halfs coach after
