There was a bit of buzz earlier this year about Luke Page. He was playing lower grades for the Raiders, making some huge hits & hard runs. I thought he was going to be the next big thing for the Raiders, but Ricky wouldn't (or couldn't ?) bring him into 1st grade.
I think the Raiders made a big mistake in letting him go. It's great news for the Dragons, but i find it frustrating to have the Eels screwed around with Gordon etc. Here's a link to Luke Page on youtube, so you can see what the hype is about...

The St George Illawarra Dragons have been busy on the eve of the June 30 deadline, signing Mark Ioane from the Gold Coast Titans and Luke Page from the Canberra Raiders, effectively immediately.
Ioane made his debut for the Titans in 2013 and has played 23 NRL matches to date, including five games this season.
Page on the other hand has yet to make his NRL debut and had been trying to impress Canberra coach Ricky Stuart. Page was a viral hit earlier in the season when footage of his hard hitting runs was posted on YouTube while playing for the Raiders feeder club the Mounties.
Gold Coast Bulletin journalist Travis Meyn confirmed both signings via Twitter.

Page played for PNG in the rep round and wasn't effective at all in that game.
That other teams are transferring players but we can't get it sorted.
Yeah, he seems to run a certain way into the tackler - which knocks them out.
Yeah, I think that's fair enough. I'm still waiting to see Alvaro get some decent minutes.
I bet Dragons supporters would have preferred they kept Morris and Merrin though
Saints have also signed Mose Mosoe for next season. Good signing imo an absolute beast of a forward.
Which brings me to what's happening at Parra, besides nothing, obviously none of those are old enough for BA. We will have 3 old men playing for us next year (sadly).
Dragons also have old players for next year: Ben Creagh (31), Marshall (31), L'Estrange (31), Nightingale (30). Every club needs experience.
he no big deal he not as E E said he will get smash if he run like that in NRL
