Luke Kelly

I thought that he played well tonight, he made his tackles and threw a nice cut out pass to put Reecey Robinson over in the corner, he kicked long and was calm under pressure. He was soo unlucky to hit the goal posts with that little chip over the top, I thought that he played well tonight

  • Yeah great effort losing
  • Still not good enough. Didn't get the result we needed
  • I thought the pass was a cracker, I have never seen sandow throw a pass like that but he also had a couple of errors and kicks were ok. Overall I thought he was ok and no worse than keary
  • I bag out Sandow a lot, and back Kelly to be our half for the rest of the year, but that's because we have nothing better. Kelly and Norman played average at best, Sandow played shite lets face it. That kick wasn't unlucky, a good player wouldn't have hit the post in that situation. Sandow kicked the ball dead when Wicks called for the grubber in the 1st half, and as a result souths get 7 tackles and roll through us and turn momentum, and Norman puts it dead in goal in the dying stages of the game. These are basic errors that under 20s halves make because they haven't mastered their game.

  • I agree, he does try hard, and its a relief to finally see someone put up attacking kicks that land just before the line and not giving away 7 tackles. He also adds structure and direction, and I think he is the best half for the team for the rest of the year.

But, all three are average, I really do hope we get Carney to partner Foran next year.

  • Luke Kelly did play well this game. Sandow dropping the ball at the end is what gifted Souths their final points

    • It was the dropped ball from Sandow when we were attacking just prior that cost us big time.

  • Yes! That was the catalyst that led to the chain of brick-shitting.

    • LOL !! Interesting choice of words. Sandow dropped the ball in attack and then a minute later in defence...

  • Sorry, have to disagree. He couldn't find grass. He fell off tackles. He dropped the ball on two occasions. His passing game was improved but still showed he belongs in NSW Cup.
