"Similar to how Melbourne have Munster, Hughes, Papz and Faalongo? All came through as fullbacks and the storm have fit them in. It's about the person and the coaching. I think Ryles sees something in Joash."

"That's probably his ceiling a good cup player and a fill in FGer when needed.
I mean if you can't crack a Dogs team that went out and bought a 6 then went and bought a journeyman in Tracey at fullback I don't know if there really is a long term…"

His form of the last 3 months is the only reason why the bloke would attract any interest from clubs in the NRL!!!
Its all nice and well to say I'm willing to take a paycut to stay at Parra obviously only when it suits him!! and he has miraculously played himself into a position over the last 2 -3 months to bargain......... or is he??
IMO I wouldnt be saddened to see the bloke leave he still brings back too many bad memories of the Hagan era!!!!
I agree in that only this year he has begun to show his true ability, but as I have argued before, I would say this would be the result of the confidence of the team, and the influence of a new coach. Toddy is a Newcastle boy and has been with Hagan for a long time. DA seems to have worked wonders for him - and I am super proud of him.
He didn't even know he had a Squad! :-(
I thought I would be the only one who would really miss him. I think he has really benefited from the coaching of DA, much like some of our other players. He needs to be congratulated for the progress he has made and how hard he tries, each week.
