didnt you love gould not being able to bag themughty eels.i felt someone should of found him and stuck it up him.he is so against eels and when he couldnt say anything bad he said nuthing at all.gould we like you this waykeep yourmouth shut

    Gould is hired as an ANALYST.. His job is to ANALYSE the game and the teams..It is what he is paid for.
    He bagged us for the first 15 rounds of the competition, and so he should have. We played crap, inconsistent and stupid football. Almost every supporter on this forum bagged the team during those rounds. He is paid for his opinion and analysis. Simple as that.
    You play crap, you get bagged..

    Besides, he was the only media person to ever support Brian Smith.. and he bagged the 'we're not far off winning' Michael Hagan .. what more could we ask for.

      Good call Eel E - while I agree sometimes Gus can be a total tosser, he ripped into us because we were under achieving. He knows the game better than most and while he can be a turn coat at times he can also be pretty quick to give compliments. He said this was his favorite team to watch this year and he has not seen a team in more form than this eels team.... I reckon thats a pretty good call if you ask me. I think he just likes to rip into the Eels because he knows we can be a pretty exciting football team and expects quality from us.

    I don't mind Gould actually, he usually tells it like it is and is pretty insightful on the mindset of the players.
