Lost in the JA selection

Most of us know it was terrible for any number of reasons . BUT what was BA thinking playing JA, DB and Perham all next to each other lol.

Scott Drinkwater said post game they knew they would carve us up down that side. 'Had no other options ' i guess . Drinkwater said their game plan was to target them because JA and DB defend too close to each other and sometimes as a trio they shoot out while some stay back and they went into the game knowing that. Quite a good interview. Meanwhile BA says if we took a couple of chances we woulda had energy and it mightve been a different result. Geez. This is the bloke some of you have confidence can lead us to a title ? After 9 seasons he's making decisions that would only pass at social level short numbers. He hasn't learned anything from the slump out of the top 4 last year.  Not BA's finest coaching hour this one.  We need to get the spine back together as soon as possible.

  • Dylan finally having his breakout season and he moves him out of position. Its either a conflict of interest or the stuff of a moron. I'll let you choose which one.

  • BA's pressa was just ass covering. JA was so slow in defence. No pressure on the half's. DB had to helpd JA leaving Perham to mark two attackers.

    • Ive just watched the game again closely, really watched JA off the ball and he is a dead set plodder off the ball.

He's very slow in everything he does and shows little to no urgency getting around the park.

For a kid we are always told thatr he wins all the long distance runs and is the fittest in the team, its just a joke.

Sadly JA deserves everything his copping and its all BAs fault.

Not many kids are litteral plodders in the halves, JA is a plodder, he plods around out there, the opposition know what he's doing before he does.

Hes the slowest player in the nrl, hands down

      • There was a play late last night where NQ put a kick up and knocked it back and touched JA for a knock on, on the replay it showed JA in the distance  after the kick was put up, his reaction was like oh god gotta move, put his head down and looked up again as he jogged, looked exhausted. Yes it was hot there but man for a 6 he looked tired

        • And he's only 19! I reckon I could outlast him and I'm 65

  • Our defensive strucures are fine apparently, it's bad enough the clown can't fix them after 9 seasons but it's even worse when he thinks there isn't a problem on the edges.

    • He's a naive and stubborn man

  • Do you honestly believe Carty would have tightened   our left edge defence?  Well I don't

Waa waa waa all you like but we're down on troops and until  some outside recover we are vulnerable

    • Al, do you think our left edge was as good as it could get? If so I have a bridge to sell you.

    • That maybe so, but with 20 mins to go 19-0 down, needing to chase some points, don't you think it was worth hooking JA, moving brown back to 5/8 and using one of our 4 backrowers at centre? Surely that was our best option at putting some points on?
