Yes we have lost a tough hooker and yes he is/was one of my fav players, but if you think about it since he has been with parra we have played 61 games he has played just over half with 32 games under his belt for parra.I dont know what we are paying for him but there are players that can play 30 games in 1 season he has only just got that in 2 and half? I think parra have done the right thing by moving him on its sad to say but yeah. Too injury prone and in my eyes hasnt earned the money he got from us.Lol yous can all attack me now but thats just my opinion and if yous think about it, it makes sense..

  • Totally agree, we will miss him short term a bit, that goes with the territory but we will be sweet and probably better off long term taking into account injury.

    • that's the main reason brad Arthur was not going to sign peats for 2017 , and he wanted a upgrade too.

hes a smart guy, and knows $450,000 at the gold coast good money.

  • Agreed ONLY.

it doesn't mean that we are sad to see him go, that we would have liked to see him stay, and are disappointed that we have been forced into making this decision.

    But facts are facts.

  • I honestly couldn't care less that he has gone I'm probably the only 1 who thinks this but I think degois is better all peats does is tackle he never runs the ball he never picks them up any penalties running at offside players
    • I have been saying since last season we lose nothing with De Gois in the team over Peats, they both lead the line speed and make a lot of tackles, peats has a slight edge in attack but only just.

  • oh for peats sake move on  beople.

"Damn it HKF, I was gonna ask where did Didly Squat come from to look them up.
Next you'll say Hock isn't coming."

"I am not too disheartened by that. If we got him then great but he is 29, having a few injuries and though a really good Winger he is an average Centre. I would rather Murray Taulagi."

"Spot on, other clubs are starting to announce signings but we have signed didly squat,  no didly is not a winger."
