So on the memberships for 2025 it has access to 11 Eels home games, usually all teams have 12. There is also a 'Territory Eel' which gives you access to the Darwin game. Not ideal, considering the 10 year deal technically this year as no game in 2020 therefore got rolled over into 2024 to make it 10 games overall. So not sure if new deal was done or if a game was added for 2025. No idea, it does bring money into the club but we automatically lose advantage by having one less home game a year.
EDIT: upon searching, apparently this is the final year of the agreement.

That's really bad news if true. You can mark that down as a loss against a QLD team.
Hope and pray we get Canberra there haha. I bet it will be GC there since we haven't played them there since 2016.
Dumbest partnership in NRL history. Play a QLD team in NT. High chance we lose the game up there but we're fcked the following game because of the travel, fatigue and lack of recovery time. Most likely the NRL would schedule Parra next round the following Thursday or Friday night game.
What about South Sydney taking a home game to Cairns every year to play against North Queensland?. That were fucking daft. They soon stopped doing it though.
I think 2025 was always in the deal.
We signed on for another 3 years at the end of 2022, so that would cover 2023, 2024 and 2025.

I see, thanks for the link Cap.
It will be a qld team because the NT government will request it.
Well it makes sense to be fair in that a team that gets a decent supporter base. That is why of late it has been against Broncos as they get a crowd. Plus, last few seasons it has been on a Friday night, therefore TV want a draw card team also. Team like Canberra or Cronulla wont get TV audience. NRL wont want us to play teams like Wests, Canterbury, Penrith, Sydney City, Souths etc due to them getting good crowds at Commbank.
Only other teams, besides QLD, i could see is Newcastle, Warriors and Melbourne. It wont be the latter.
Here is who we have played there over the years.
2014: Canberra
2015: Penrith
2016: Gold Coast
2017: North Queensland
2018: North Queensland
2019: Canberra
2020: COVID
2021: Brisbane
2022: North Queensland
2023: Brisbane
2024: Redcliffe
We have won 6 from 10, lost last 3. Everyone acts like we never win there, not the cast, we have a 60% win rate there, so it is not factual. If anything, stats argue we should play there. I do not think so but not due to not winning, i feel the extra Commbank game is crucial.
So 4 straight years of QLD teams, i reckon it's Dolphins again or GC.
But we cannot even adjust the date of playing it as the temp in Darwin fluctuates only up or down 1-2 degrees per month. Not like we can request to play there mid year, temp is the same.
Having lived in Darwin for several years, we should not play the game at end of April.
It is still way to humid for footy at that time. It should be in June or July as the humidity is way less and the feels like temperature is heaps cooler at night. Dry season weather is quite comfortable.
LB, it'd be interesting to see when the games have been played to see if we have started losing more as it's got earlier in the season.
Badger you are onto something.
2014-15 we played in August, won both.
2016-19 we played in June, won 3/4
2021-24 we played in April and won 1/4.
Issue is they seem to want it around ANZAC day time.
