The cowboys and roosters play melb and Penrith next week. The cowboys follow that with game against Melbourne so will see where they really are. If they both lose to the top 2 sides and roosters beat Cronulla in 2 weeks we will be coming 3rd. That is if we beat manly and raiders which given our form is no certainty. Roosters then play storm after the bye round giving both them and cowboys the hardest draw leading into origin period.
If we beat the roosters yesterday which we should have if at our best, we would have really established our top 4 spot but we get 2nd chance to establish top 4 going into origin period with easier opponents than other top 4 rivals.
I think the next 2 weeks will decide our top 4 chances as we still have 2 games against Bulldogs with a few easy games after origin before ending the season with a game against Melbourne. We don't want to go into Melbourne game needing a Win for top 4.
