I just realised that we play the Bulldogs just before State of Origin 2. Lets hope the NSW halves work and Williams/Morris play well in SOO1. We might be meeting them at a good time.

yea I realised this last week too,it's the only game Parra has to play during the SOO period where players are stood down...but the Dogs will have their forward pack but they still looked a bit flat in attack against Roosters without their halves & no doubt Morris would be a danger so as you said hopefully they play well & get retained for Origin2...yes we'll be without Hayne but I reckon we can still get by without him! he may not even back up against the Panthers yet...so the Eels will have to get used to it for a couple of weeks
Ye agree Jezza the side is a lot more complete now without having to rely 100% on Hayne. I rekon we can get the dogs, Hayne or no Hayne.
Let's see how we go if and when he doesn't run on with the side.
I don't share your confidence to be honest but hope you're right.
Hayne is a big part of our team and the form player of the comp.
But Parra is no longer a 1-man show.
We have other attacking weapons out there, and our depth is very good.
Having 4 Dogs out should hurt them more.
