Hi guys
I've been a member of 1eyedeel for well over 5 years and read all the discussions religiously however have never felt the need to write a blog until now.
Not for one second do I think I am some coaching genius that has all the answers but everyone with any football knowledge knew what was going to happen last week and tonight.
Jakob Arthur is not ready for first grade and having him in this side this early in his career may be detrimental for his confidence going forward.
I feel Brad was blinded by his love for his son and his hopes that he was ready rather than playing it safe with the other options available to him which I believe he would have done if it wasn't his son.
I also think as whole hearted as Fergo is that unfortunately the game has passed him by.
He can do some freakish things with the ball and still has a strong finish in him but his defensive deficiencies have now made him a liability.
I hate that my first blog is a negative one as I love the eels and have followed them for 40 years but I am a realist and I truly believe we cannot win a premiership with the current team and I am starting to have my doubts about our coaching staff
Our well here's hoping I'm wrong

Just trying to put some frustration out mate I get it. The eels need to look at a fullback and put gutho at 5/8 we really lack X factor, brown can go to centre and if he doesn't like it can piss off. We need to piss off fergo bring in someone is steady and done the job not rocks and Diamonds
Jack your back, and you want to get rid or Dylan Brown again. Fuck you have a exiting intelligence.
I'm not sure who comes in for Ferguson unless like you said move Dylan to centre and waqa to wing as I don't think duster is ready despite the game in the finals last year.
Who goes to fullback if gutho moves to 5/8
Nico hynes definitely has x factor and could be a very astute buy if we were to pay slight overs now for 3 years as it could end up being unders in 2 years time
Nicho great buy, can we afford?
He can have Ferguson's money
