If true well done BA, at least somebody at our club has their head screwed on and can see the woods from the trees.
Our luck we let Loko go and he goers on to have an injury free run to only bite us on the arse down the track.
You can see the telecrap headline " Another ex eel comes back to Haunt Parra"
Had Brad Arthur taken over officially as coach when the Warriors made the offer? Loko might want to stay, but Arthur might have a different view altogether and might not see him as part of his future plans.
I'd like to see what he can do in the backrow with nearly a full season under his belt, his days in the centres are numbered IMO. But surely an unproven, injury prone Loko would find it nearly impossible to get anywhere near a backrow spot, even a bench spot, seeing we have the likes of Santi, Tanginoa, Mossop/Lussick (one of them will be a backrower if they're not playing prop), Terepo and likely a few others. Sharks backrow stocks are choc a block too, so they might have had him earmarked to stay in the centres if the deal had come off.
If these whispers are true, and BA is willing to cut him loose, I hope its an indication that Parra are finally serious about not wanting to pay big dollars for youngsters on potential alone and end up running around for Wenty taking up valuable cap space.
Hey it's ok, we still have Ben Smith.
no way we should keep him
NO WAY KEEP LOKO AT ALL COST
