Loko free to talk to other clubs

Was close to signing with sharks earlier this week but the deal fell through over. 30k. Sharks offered 200k he wanted 230k. It will be a huge mistake if we let him go

  • Sauce?

  • If true well done BA, at least somebody at our club has their head screwed on and can see the woods from the trees.

  • Our luck we let Loko go and he goers on to have an injury free run to only bite us on the arse down the track.

You can see the telecrap headline  "  Another ex eel comes back to Haunt Parra"

  • I don't get that cause I remember the warriors wanted him end of last year and they and they offered him $400,000 plus a year, and he stayed with the eels. This story is a gee up.
    • Had Brad Arthur taken over officially as coach when the Warriors made the offer? Loko might want to stay, but Arthur might have a different view altogether and might not see him as part of his future plans.

I'd like to see what he can do in the backrow with nearly a full season under his belt, his days in the centres are numbered IMO. But surely an unproven, injury prone Loko would find it nearly impossible to get anywhere near a backrow spot, even a bench spot, seeing we have the likes of Santi, Tanginoa, Mossop/Lussick (one of them will be a backrower if they're not playing prop), Terepo and likely a few others. Sharks backrow stocks are choc a block too, so they might have had him earmarked to stay in the centres if the deal had come off.

If these whispers are true, and BA is willing to cut him loose, I hope its an indication that Parra are finally serious about not wanting to pay big dollars for youngsters on potential alone and end up running around for Wenty taking up valuable cap space.

  • Bs he stated he was parra through and through!!
  • Hey it's ok, we still have Ben Smith.

  • no way we should keep him

Prof. Daz replied to Parra-all-the-way's discussion Did eels dodge a bullet with Galvin?
"Seems it is Galvin's role at Dogs that is the issue, not necessarily Galvin per se? Galvin permanently replaced Sexton at #7 for Dogs in Round 20 of 2025. After 19 rounds going into Round 20, Dogs were 3rd (12 wins, 4 losses, 3 byes; 366 (f) vs 270…"

"Thanks mate. The Manly team are shit to be fair. They are coming last in JF with no SG ball players in the team still.
Jordan Rankin has been doing a great job recently. He deserves a massive shout out."

Nitram replied to Parra-all-the-way's discussion Did eels dodge a bullet with Galvin?
"Yeah they won 70% of the twenty games prior to Galvin's arrival and only 50% in the twenty games since he arrived. It is all Gus' fault. He needs to admit he made a mistake. Everyone else is already thinking it so he needs to man up and admit it.…"
