one year for him will be ok, not a lot of the others will be though, he has done ok this year and back to close to his best, he just needs to maintain that form.

Maybe the aspect as to the why with him Macy is that he cannot get the same coin or contract conditions that he will get at the horses. His media statements are like players everywhere when their contracts are up and the media circus goes forward with blazing pens and recorders.
You would assume Jennings is taking a paycut, he has been playing great this year, he deserves one more year
