Here are a few recentl examples:Tepai Moeroa - Blatant swinging arm from Jarrod Wallace leading to HIA. Tep came back with swollen eye socket. Only penalty given should have been 10 in the bin.Tepai Moeroa - high shots from Darcy Lussic x 2 leading to HIA. Tep did not return to field? No penalty.Bureta Farimo - knees to the head whilst trying to score against West Tigers leading to HIA. Farimo did not return? Play on. Should have been penalty try.Tim Mannah - two high shots in the same tackle I think against the Titans? Or Penrith? Nothing done. Play on.Last night Degois was held back from the play by James Roberts leading to a Broncos try. Commentators mentioned it and even Lockyer said it should have been an Eels penalty. Play on.What are your most memorable?

  • Too many to list and its across all teams. They are a deadset joke - by far the biggest blight on the game.
  • One where Gallen was obstructed but coz he didn't flop didn't vid ref said try.

More general though for me it's been:

    1. disparity of teams higher on the ladder allowed to lay longer on play the ball. As soon as our points got deducted ref became more strict on us.

    2. Defending players allowed to change their line and intentionally block runners for high kick.
  • I watch a lot of sport, infact I will watch pretty much any sport they are playing on fox or tv..... NRL refs are by the far the worst in any code in the world! I have never seen so many games where the refs have such a bearing on the outcome on the end result, makes it feel as though games are rigged or dare say it fixed!
    • Agreed. Not only coz of the errors but the lack of pofessionalism in everything they do. For me NBA refs are a close second but more so coz of the errors as the protocol between ref n players in NBA is good.
    • Agreed est. it's amazing how American sports are played a lot quicker than rugby league and the players are paid a hell of a lot more than league players yet the referees play next to no part in the game and barely ever influence the out come of the games. The refs in rugby league week in and week out have an ever increasing influence on the outcomes of games!!!
    • It makes you wonder if players are being caught match fixing it's possible refs could be as well. You watch some games and some times that thought is all that makes sense with the penaltys that you see and blatant bias towards One of the teams on the field
  • Tigers vs Titans - blatant ball knocked out by the Titans during the play the ball , Tigers player is ruled to have knocked on . Replays clearly show Titans player intentionally knocking the ball out and yet no bunker / referee call to reverse the decision .

Nek minute Titans score a try .
    • That should have been a perfect use of the bunker as the ref made the call from behind the Tigers player, he had no vision to make the call. The bunker could have given the correct call which would have been penalty to Tigers, play on.  Instead the jerks on fox are falling over themselves with the brilliance of Hayne and his Titans
I'm turning over to the cricket, at least the Aussies are looking good today.

  • The blatant cheating going on by the referee's ( and yes I'm using the word cheating ) is incredible . So many calls favouring the Titans which are clear as day wrong calls is astounding . This game isn't a competition anymore , it's purely a NRL produced entertainment show .

If there was ever a game so bias the game could be labeled as rigged it's this game.
    • 100% agree Wiz. The game as we knew it is finished. Your quote of "It's purely a NRL produced entertainment show" is the smartest comment posted in some time. There is now very little difference between NRL and World Championship Wrestling. In both, the referees control the flow of matches. Who would have thought that introducing gambling as a main stream sponsor would have put match fixing into the spotlight? The NRL carefully "placed" Hayne to the Titans and now watch them get the rails run just in time to sell their share in the club next year. The number of serious head injuries against our players that are going un-penalised is a disgrace. We may as well start Jack Little, Mike Cleary and Sam Manniker calling the games now

But they'll have same away jersey as they have to have 2 years of a jersey by rules, unless that only applies to home jersey."
