Like that doggy I have to say sorry to Monto Eel for bringing his blog re Manu to an abrupt end.
It seems that was due either to my typing mistake or edited out by the Mods. Either way I was disappointed the discussion stalled and would like to continue.
As I've already stated, I could not believe he was charged! He acted alone in tackling a titan and putting him down squarely on the deck. The referee blew a penalty for a dangerous lifting tackle that in his opinion went beyond the horizontal. I'm sure that he did not put MM on report at the time.
Honestly, you would have to be very pedantic to penalize for that tackle. The commentators also seemed surprised by the penalty.
So Manu absolutely must fight the charge, get it thrown out and break out that sweet smile that only he is known for.

I have seen similar tackles go through unpunished. If he was wearing a Storm jumper, he would not have been penalised
Well thats a given Kegs
Exactly Mick, he has to defend it. The panel will find it impossible to support the charge.
That is, if they're fair dinkum.
Can't help myself Monto, I'm a gent.
trouble with Mau hes wearing Parramatta colour so he get 4 weeks
That's usually the way it goes Paul ............."Spear that bloody Eel."
He wears the BnG - need I say more?
Junior Paulo 9 weeks - next week in another game a far worse tackle got ignored.
Titans player was about 15 cms off ground when legs went to Manu's shoulder height and the guy landed on his shoulder/back.
I'd say Manu is out for the season for this one.
The object of the exercise is to ensure as many Eels players have carry over points into 2017 so the lowest grade charge will automatically give them a minimum 1 - 2 week suspension *NEXT YEAR*sigh
Wow I love your view of this sick League Sir Unicol. You're much more psychotic than me!
