  Truth the told, I dont think any club has ever had the horrible run of injuries to key players, what we suffered between 1987 to 1989. We followed that up with the worst recruitment in the history of the game from 1990-1994. Thank god for the Superleague war otherwise it would have been even uglier.

    Mate supporting the Eels since 1988 means you can acheive anything in life.

    If you're every in a job interview and they ask you what's your greatest acheivement in life tell them I've supported and not quit the Eels since 1988. The interiewers are bound to drop their head, cusp their hands and pay the upmost respect to you by bowing. They might even start burning insence as if a deity is amongst them.
