  • He's knocked back 750k to stay at the Panthers, we're not paying 800+ for an edge forward, not now, not ever.

  • Article says he wants 750k per season. If we had that for a backrower we would have kept Ice or Niukore. Out of our price range

  • Great player. Has the right amount of mongrel and a gun in defense. But that's overpaying for this position. Ice is better, and I think that money is better spent on the spine.

    • He's trading on the Panthers success, and good luck to him if he can get it.

      • Exactly right. I don't think he'll get close to it.

  • Dreamer he's good and all but he isn't 750 per good.

  • I didn't realise that he wanted that much, I agree he's not worth that much I'd rather go for crichtion for that much money

  • Do you really want to pay overs for a player that's missed 5 tackles, 20 post contact metres max 39 average running metres - these are the stats v the eels last week, what makes our recruitment more puzzling is imo Papali would have stayed for approx $500k to $550 if we had acted sooner

  • Roosters can afford him.

    • Roosters can afford anybody lol
