Was it BA’s fault that Foran turned into a basket case? Watmo was bought in as a mentor for our crop of young forwards. Most coaches would have walked out on the whole SC Scandal. We lost our hooker. We still don’t really have one. There’s just no good ones in the market. BA can’t change that.

I call BS on Watmough signing. We were an absolutely busted bum of a side who couldn’t sign anybody after Stuart cleaned us out. Say what you like about Watmough but he helped changed the culture of our club for the better. Yes we paid huge overs but don’t forget where we were back then.
Foran was apparently a shock to everybody. Did BA know about his issues? Don’t know.
Moses wasn’t that expensive and he’s miles in front of any halfback we’ve had in our club for ages. Foran included.

My concerns are more around talent identification and development. We either buy over the hill players or fringe first graders who’ve played nrl but never did much.
Stevie Wonder could see we had Prop issues. Packer, Matulino, McLean were available. We knew we were short props 4 years ago. Where are the 3-4 6ft 4” players we plucked out of U/20’s 4 years ago who must be about due to debut. Where are those guys we surely would have identified and developed?
