After this weeks fiasco with our amateurish attempts to sign Foren we need to look at a total change in the way our club is administered.At present no decent maquee footballer will come near Parramatta The board need to appoint an administrator who has the total control of all football matterers. I think that someone like Brian Smith would be perfect, we may not all like his coaching methods but he is a good administrator and knows his football.
The Coach- there seems to be rumours that BA is on the way out. To get rid of yet another coach would be absolutly stupid, we have already gone through four coaches in a few years they cant all have been duds. The problem is the coaches have had to deal with a looney administration.BA is obviouly liked by the playing group and is our only chance of luring any decent player to the club.
The players- Its not worth paying heaps of money for another washed out half, much better ti identify a young and upcoming half pay a much smaller amount of money and coach him. And we still have Norman and Matherson.
Our two other weak spots are fullback and centre. Fullback has been solved with Gordon and then Bevan French. We are still short of a quality centre and need to get one, they are a lot cheaper than a halfback.
PS after appointing the above administator the board should show some solidarity and find the biggest cliff and jump off.

well said - totally agree. Dont agree with the Brian Smith option though. Not that i dont think he's capable. I just feel we need a fresh start and any new administrators that come in shouldn't carry any baggage from previous stints at the club.
Yes Eel for Life, I just hope we get an administrator or CEO that can get us in the right direction.Like most of the guys on this site Ive followed the eels for most of my life and its just so sad seeing what our administration has done to the club. I live in Queensland and you see eels supporters every day we are the second most supported sydney club in QLD.. Im still sure we will rise again.
