Well Eels Fans it's now all over for 2023. Time to now look to 2024 Season and see what Super Dud has in store for the Eels. Will it be chasing the collision 💥 in 24? Maybe a 15 man side or perhaps 15 and a 1/2 with Super Sub 7 Super Glued to a permanent bench spot. All we know is it's never dull with Super Dud and the Tuesday Selection Specials. Can't honestly see Eels beating Raiders next week. Very strong possibility Mitch Moses won't play. How will Blake handle the High Kicks again and will Sivo get into 2nd gear? Will Dylan Brown be Rocks or Diamonds? Anyway we know that Super Dud Coach will have at least next year at the helm as he's taken the Eels into the top 4.

If we lose to the raiders then obviously he can't be coaching us next year. Guys like Cartwright and Russel should have been regulars in the team throughout the season. As good as Reed is at siome things, his refusal to run from dummy half is also unacceptable. If the coach had any balls he woulda given him a stint in reserves during the season. No coincidence we almost beat the panthers without him in last years finals.I've been calling for Blake to be out of the team for a while specifically for his potential game changing errors and brain explosions. Dylan Brown has been a bit of a smoke screen to cover out deficiencies. He's had an amazing season. Unfortunately the coach has no other plans if Dylan or Moses don't have exceptional games. Also BA cares about is the collision, JA and that's about it. We need a change.
He will still be coach for next season at least as he has got the Eels into top 4 and he's got Barrett with him for at least 2 years
He has to try something. I mind losing but I mind a lot less if we go down doing everything we can, BA needs to change his ultra conservative approach. Obv he also shouldn't ultra radical and make changes after every loss either. But one or two ballsy changed are necessary. As much as he must get heart pulpitations with regards to Cartwright as seen by his lack of selection. He needs to take an educated risk. Imo it's not even a risk. He should just pretend his last name is Arthur and BA's heart will beat ok. The other is Russel. This guy deserves a go. He might not be as strong as Waqa but he is more than capable. Additionally if a half goes does he can shuffle to fullback n gutho to the halves. If we go down, we go down but at least try something ffs.
I'd replace waqa with Simmonson.. he caught every high ball Cleary threw at him including a floater with the opposition a metre away from him running full pelt (in the first eels vs riff game earlier this year)

Agree Simonson a lil safer but I don't rate Simonson for first grade unless it's a bottom 8 desperate team.
