My daughter plays reps unders 11's Netball. Tonight her undefeated team lost their first game by a point in a top of the table clash. They have previously beaten this team. My daughter who is so competitive was devastated and practically in tears. It meant so much to her. Her 16 year old coach pulled her aside and said:
"You played such a brilliant game and you should be proud. But you need to understand that sometimes we need to lose a game so that we know what we can improve on. And now i know. So we'll train hard and I guarantee you next week we'll be even stronger"
The rest of the team heard this and they grabbed my daughter and went over to the other team and shook their hands with their heads held high. The girls and parents of the opposition team were in shock. It's like we won.
I was so impressed with the coach. She installed so much confidence, pride and belief in the team. The team respects her and I have no doubt they will win next week.
Lessons from a 16 year old coach. This is how it's done....

What a great coach can she back up and do our crap team but i dont think we win that many games to be in the top 2 lol
Is the coach off contract ? She sounds like she’d make a good assistant for BAs son .
You're on fire since getting out of detention.
Would she be interested in coaching the eels??
