Less floggings = better forwards f

As per the heading reads we are now competing pretty well against other teams even though we have a very sluggish back line at the moment. In my opinion this is the first step in developing a very good football team, if we look at the dogs last year I thought they had a pretty dull back line however they managed to get to the big one. Most experienced coaches ( re Bennet & Hasler) don't care about how boring the win will look but just chalk another 2 points up. I think this is BAs logic with his own " Parra footy style"that he's introducing. I'm gunna be happy to win ugly & sometimes lose ugly but I'm pretty sure we've moved from being the soft forward pack that we've been regarded for years. backline pace can be added & also made to look better than it actually is. We're headed in the right direction, forwards first back line second!

  • Agreed. I don't care if our wins are uglier than loko's head, I'll take it any day of the week. Common u eels another horrible ugly win against the broncs next week.
  • Its a big mans game now.. Our forwards have been young and soft for a few years, and some teams just steam rolled us big time.. Another year older and a great teacher in whatmough has helped no end.. We just need some confidence in the back line to support and back each other and we'll do much better.. Hoppa needs t fire up...

"Some players need to get sacked from a club and risk losing it all before they really knuckle down and put in the work.  Why did he get sacked, was it lack of discipline for footy and training or off field issues?"
