  This is interesting, because I was so shocked at how poor defence was on this side today!
  
  I think our boys generally looked a bit lost that first half, but I think the problem with our left side is Tahu often likes to put a big hit on - with Morts also coming in, it left a gaping hole and Manly capitalised.
  
  I think my biggest problem was that traditionally it is our right side which is poor defensively. We can't have two weak wings!! :-) However, I am sure with Sharpy at the helm, things will improve.

  I have said in another thead Tahu looks like he is playing a little heavy for mine. I'd love to know how heavy he is at the moment, my guess looking at him would about 105 kilos.
  
  When he first played for the knights he would have been about 90 ringing wet.
  
  I think he needs to streamline just a fraction - about 3-5 kilos because in league, as opposed to union, defence in the centres is more about being able to make one on one tackles as opposed to being a brick wall.

  That defensive option that led to the lyon try was pretty shocking. Fair enough we love to see him put on a hit, but i'd sleep alot easier if he did it a bit further up the field.

  when Tahu played a test for the Wallabies against the Springboks, his defense was abysmal. I hope those years away haven't altered his defensive game. He didn't read the game well at all. Im actually a little concerned about his overall game ( i know it's early and he will have the rest of the season to work things out, but so far things ain't lookin good)
