One reason why, speedy, they don`t make jokes about Bob Hawke giving knighthoods to Phillip is because it never happened! When Hawke came to power, after Frazer, Hawke eliminated knighthoods from the Order of Ayustralia. See Wikipedia " Prime Minister Tony Abbott Exercisers His Prerogative Over Knights And dames" If you have any evidence that Hawken did give Knighthoods to Royalty could you supply suitable references?
Notice that in the reference I have given, the word dames has a lower case D. This is entirely in line with Abbott`s
misogyny with relations to women.
