He has never been a player that gets very involved. Even the game he played where people said he was the world best player he only had 10 touches of the footy.
The fact is interested or not if you get him one on one or even half a gap he will generally beat his man or set up the winger. Unfortunately in today's game it isn't easy to give players like him space.
I don't think the money is over the top but the length of contract definitely is. He is match winner and for rebuilding club like the dogs they need to take a risks. That said I don't think he leaves the roosters for massive money for short contract. The roosters will keep him and as he matures as a man his football will follow.
Bit like Hayne. Turns up when he feels like it, but when he does he is unstoppable. Hayne never had the chance to play in a stacked team like the chooks though.
