I have a mate who's a sports journo in Greece and what his boss tells him is "Keep those clicks coming even if it's bullshit. They can't sue us if we state "there a rumours going around that...blah, blah" ". If the story makes headlines, they next day you might have another story of the reported party squashing those rumours. So basically you have 2 stories just there.
He was told he needs to post a minumum of 5 articles a day. Most the time he's just making shit up in order to keep his job because most of the news is boring stuff that no one cares about.
It's very different to the old days when you paid 50c for the paper.

The reality is that with instant access live streaming on demand, old fashioned match reports simply don't attract eyeballs anymore. You can watch the replay, or the highlights or the extended highlights anytime you want.
If the Eels could get Latrell, he is someone you would offer a massive contract. If he does leave the Roosters I am guessing he will go to the Rabbit's. Cronk's money will be put towards Latrell next season so I don't see him leaving but we can always dream.
but im sure cronk is only on 600k right now as his employer has given him a part time job with FoxSports for another 200k and TPA of 100k and Free Education/Car and Rent.
