He is a great player .. has it all . But out of the system built around success at roosters to our current team environment? Won’t happen . He isn’t go anywhere ... maybe Souths but still reckon they find the money as always to Retain him there..
Cronks retirement money basically keeps him. Only way he’d leave is because of teddy. He wouldn’t be great at fullback because he’d get Hayne syndrome and you’d rely on him way too much
Pay him what he wants , let him play where he wants and contract length as long as he wants .. that will be the offer he gets from most clubs would love him but doubt we would be in the running to land him.
We would probably have to pay at least $200k more than what successful teams would to get him. He'd basically be signing purely for the cash and throwing away any chance of GF rings (this would be his thoughts, whether we like hearing that or not).
The wooden spooners signing the best centre in the game $850k+ to play him at fullback will end in disaster. We know it, he knows it.
If we could some how convince Gutherson and Moses to sign for $550k instead of $750k+, then yeah this'll work because then latrell plays centre.
