  • Back to court on 28th June, hopefully this bullshit is put to bed and he is back after the bye

    • hahaha

    • Has to be at least 5 times.

  • Who knows, and that's why he should never of got stood down

    • He should have followed the protocol and 'laid low' not 'touch low' and he wouldn't be in this predicament

  • As PA just said he has a hearing next Wednesday 28th. As I understand it he'll be required to enter a plea at that hearing. He hasn't entered a plea as yet (yet another reason why he should not have been stood down yet).
    A few possible outcomes.
    1) Between now and then his Lawyer and police agree to downgrade the charge. Dylan pleads guilty to the lesser charge and punishment is minimal or non-existent eg) a nominal fine with no conviction recorded.
    2) Police decide to dismiss the charge prior to next Wednesday
    3) The police won't budge, Dylan pleads not guilty and the Judge will set a trial date which will likely be later this year or early next year.

If it's No 3, it would appear Abdo will wipe Dylan out for the rest of the season.

    • Based purely on what I've seen in the various news reports I would think that there will be a guilty plea entered - hopefully that's with an agreement on charge.

      • I'm suspecting the same as Michael. But, after a door no.1 guilty plea (on reduced charges and no conviction agreement) would the NRL suspend him a little longer?

It's not a good PR look for the NRL to just let him back in, immediately, even if this is on the lower end of the spectrum. Any inappropriate male behaviour against women is one of most sensitive, politically charged topics.
