  • How satisfying it is to finally have a coach with the love for Parra and the passion to see them succeed. King Arthur has developed his coaching style to fit that passion and has slowly brought this bunch of ragtags up, added the players he thought would help this success (making some errors with Foran and Whatmough and possibly Jarryd) and now definitely has found his groove and is rockin along. Call him amateur, call him a bush coach but he's learning on the run through some pretty troubled times and he's gonna get success and he's gonna be here for a while. Even if this season ends in tears we know Brad will be onto it and we're just gonna keep improving as he improves. All hail the King!
    • I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with Kane Evans . Throwing him in with Mau , Brown , and Scott may really help him forfill the hard man hype around him a few years back .
  • First time we won 6 games on the trot y his decade.
  • and how good is our defence!!!

Ever since we lost to the Cows out defence has conceeded:

    10, 12, 6, 16, 14 and 4 points =12, 4 points per game.

    • Less, it is actually just over 10 points per game.

  • you're right! I stand corrected say I in the orthopedic shoes!!

  • When Hayne walked and BA was so calm about it many of us knew there was a reason BA wasn't fazed . The fact he then only offered him a fair contract and not got into a bidding war when he paraded himself to return was a masterstroke .

I still remember when myself , others and Pou in particular were ridiculed for saying we'd be better off without Hayne . Hayne wage and his lack of consistency was an anchor for our team . If you're gunna be sucking out so much cap you need to be a Smith or Thurston and perform at full potential every appearance .

A few still owe Pou a huge apology in my opinion . He was smack bang on about spreading princess's wage across the team .

I agree , I reckon Evans is gunna be awesome . Making the finals is really going to help our recruitment in the coming years and I'm predicting a some really great players are going to be wanting to come to Parra . Last night I was sitting back blowing out at how we'd all managed to stay interested enough to keep on tapping away on here through EIGHT YEARS of total embarrassment. I can't believe it's been 8 fuckig years of heartache .

Our clubs very lucky to have us .
    • It's been pretty dark those last 8 years. Probably worse than the 8 years from 88-95. Agree about Hayne, I just can't see him in this team to be honest.

"I'm not suggesting throwing Lorenzo or any other young player in there now, they aren't ready, my point is they still won't be ready for a start in 2027 either so are we going to sign another 1 year stop gap 6 for 2027?."

"Thanks KN/ EA. Just checking my gut feeling. Hopefully, he stays & makes good on his potential. I like his upside: footy nous, big body, kicking game, goal-kicker. Ain't many sixes offering all that. He's called by many in RU as a "Sua'ali'i clone…"

Slippery. replied to Eelawarra's discussion NRL LEGENDS EXPLAIN WHY THEY HATE BRETT KENNY

Brett Kenny is the reason I support the Eels. He was the most naturally gifted player I have ever seen. In my opinion Imortal status he is worthy of. However, what I find even more bizarre is the fact that Brett Kenny was not once named in the…"
