Surely, surely, no one will ever inflict Ben Roberts on us again after his inglorious- bastard like effort for Samoa this afternoon? I did not see much of the game but what I did see was that he contributed about 15 points to the Australian score line. Samoa has played well in this competition ,one can only image what they might have achieved without Roberts. Brax said Roberts was Rocks or Diamonds. I agree, except that I have never seen any diamonds ! It also confirms my belief that coaches know very little, or achieve even less. Kearney and Stuart selected Roberts in most NRL games that they coached. The Samoan coach worked under Stuart at Parramatta during the worst days of Robert`s nadir. He has no excuse for selecting Roberts for Samoa and even less in playing him.
