Paps and Olam will both miss our round 1 game.
That's a good leveler in our favour since The $4.000 man will be sitting it out, as will Bailey in addition to Nathan Brown and Waqa who are a 50-50 chance.
We really can't afford to lose anyone else.

If you take into account their pack was decimated (Bromwich Bros, Kaufusi and Cheese all gone) we have a good chance at winning with the additional absences of Paps and Olam.
Saw Paps before his US trip. He didn't look good at all. I'd be surprised if he plays before SOO.

Yeah we've got the wood on them ever since he's been gone. I see the Storm sliding this year, could potentially even miss the 8 if they get unlucky with Paps recovery and Grant going down once or twice.
We are the Storm's bogey team rn, even when Bellyache was on fire and about to break Gibson's record BA and Parra just kind of didn't let the Storm win, like they wanted to. But they just match us without Cam anymore.
It's more the last tackle options and crucial plays that matter, like when Storm needed a penalty and or try/repeat set Smith could do it. Now it's not as easy for them.
They've been shit since they've had to pay over 2 million for their halves and shed players elsewhere. Simply can't do it. Not unless your halves are Andrew John's and Brad Fittler anyway.
