I'm yet to watch the replay of Saturday's game but I was just looking through the number of minutes played and if they're accurate they're quite interesting.

What it shows is our props had very limited minutes and there must have been significant periods of the game where we only had one prop on the field.
Now I'm sure there were some mitigating circumstances; ie Tim Mannah not being fully fit, Justin Poore still catching up on fitness, etc but it won't surprise me if Kearney looks towards having a very mobile forward pack next year.
I think it's quite significant that Kearney has let go two props and kept recruiting second rowers, despite that being an area we have plenty of depth. Out goes Pele and Manase and in comes Ryan, Tautai, Paulo and Penese.

Mannah: 22
Moi Moi: 41
Shackleton: 34
Allgood: 49
Poore: 32
Total: 178 'prop minutes' (2.2 games worth)
Did you perhaps only count 4 of the 5 props?
Shacks is not a prop... take his numbers out.
May pay dividends if executed correctly.
I see Fui Mannah Poore and Allgood as our prop rotation next year with Shacks as first choice back up. Pretty solid team considering Shacks even played city-country as a prop... And Allgood has had a brilliant break out year.
Excuse my idiocy - but Phil, this blog assumes a lot of RL knowledge.
What exactly does it indicate if SK is not using his props and is instead trying to recruit second rowers? : )
