Ive always thought Parra come out of the gates strongly on a friday night, a night where people can stay around the district after work, and go to the game if its a home one.
Ive got no stats to back this up but i remember the team coming out of the blocks hard on a friday night and usually putting on a good performance, then the players go out and hit the town, get the party night out of the way and then they are theoretically recovering quicker from the night of celebration and back in business monday training.
We havnt been getting any friday night games this year, and not many last year.
If we are playing sundays it wouldnt surprise me if theres a few blokes not spending their saturday and friday nights as well as they could, and theyve got the nervous energy building up all weekend, it cant be ideal,i can see a lot of reasons why friday is the best day of the week to play for us.
It also means the obvious longer turn around in some instances.
I realise that because we are playing away from home atm, friday night games are not as important to the club because they cant take advantage of a bustling friday night in the business district of Parramatta, but as of next year id be hoping the club pushes for every friday night game possible.
Great to have a friday night game tonight, go the eels.
Any thoughts on playing friday nights?

The new stadium will attract the best crowd atmosphere that will have the tv networks jostling for prime time slots which are Thursday & Friday 7.30. Banks of empty anz seats are a bad look.
I doubt we'll see too many Sunday games at Parramatta.
I agreed the big night games bring out the best @ Parramatta
It seems the new stadium will be a competition between Western Sydney Wanderers, West’s / Tigers and the Eels To has home ground bragging rights.
Why does it have to be a competition ?
We can all coexist.
I agree - but I am not sure the statistics do
Lack of decent coach is what is hurting the most .
